Biography:
Marshall Deason is a Board-certified real estate lawyer with more than 30 years’ experience practicing real estate law in Florida. In addition to private practice, he has been an attorney/advisor at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington, D.C. and vice president and general counsel of a publicly traded real estate development corporation.
Mr. Deason has been the co-author of several legal practice manuals published by The Florida Bar and has written numerous articles for legal and real estate publications. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law and Cooley Law School of Western Michigan University.
He also has lectured frequently at continuing legal education programs for lawyers on real estate law, business law, and ethics. Mr. Deason received his law degree with honors and served as executive editor of the law review.
